Student housing attracts institutional-scale deals in London and Seoul
Maslow Capital provided a £238 million development finance facility to a joint venture of Arada London and the Shaw Corporation for Devonshire Place on the Old Kent Road in Southwark, comprising 941 purpose-built student beds and 200 affordable homes. Invesco launched a Seoul student housing platform seeded with five properties near Korea University and 400 beds.
Why it matters Purpose-built student accommodation is being financed at a scale that rivals mainstream residential.
